The g2gConnect Touch Screen device is a 20” monitor with video-phone capabilities. It includes a built-in webcam, microphone and speakers, and is equipped with USB ports for easy attachment to headsets, external speakers, and video-projection devices. The Touch Screen device connects directly to the Internet, via WiFi or Ethernet cable. No computer is necessary.
The g2gConnect Touch Screen has a pictorial interface designed for seniors, which can be customized by g2gConnect and/or a family member through the g2gConnect.net web-based family portal to include the pictures and contact information of those individuals with whom the senior will do video-calls and/or share pictures.
Unlike computers, which present users with multiple options selected via combination of keyboard, mouse, and/or touch, the g2gConnect Touch Screen device is designed to present the user a minimal set of features:
